Our first play!

For his birthday, Gran & Grandpa Glenn gave Graham tickets to see The Little That Could at the Birmingham Children's Theater. It was wonderful! Have you ever seen a more handsome set of little lads in your life?

In conjunction with the BCT, The Wee Folks Theater presents plays just for preschool and early elementary kids to introduce plays and appropriate behavior. It was a great learning experience! We all dressed up to practice "dress up behavior" and the boys enjoyed it immensely. Rob was just thrilled it was about trains, and Graham was thrilled by the live action. The boys have already asked what is the next play they get to see!

This is a really affordable experience, friends. Tickets are about $10, and it lasts about an hour. It's just enough scenery, music and performing to keep you and the kids engaged, but not so much that it's sensory overload. A helpful hint to girls who go, don't wear a skirt. It's tiered seating, but you're sitting on the floor - and it is hard to be ladylike in a skirt on the floor!
